Lovely melodies

Of these, twenty-four thousand were to direct the service of the house of the LORD, six thousand were to be officials and judges, four thousand were to be gatekeepers, and four thousand were to praise the LORD with the instruments which David had devised for praise.

Of the seemingly nearly four thousands musicians on the stage tonight at the symphony, all did amazing! The music was wonderful and just beautiful. Props to the youth symphony who played with them as well! God really has a way of surprising me with the most spontaneous of evenings sometimes. And tonight, He wished to share the wonderful sounds of music. I heard why it was that four thousand were to do nothing but play all day. If you ever get a chance, go listen to a symphony, an orchestra or just the high school band. Music is an amazing uplifter. Even just at church next time, really listen to the sounds of the chorus and instruments. You'll be surprised as to how they can help clear your thoughts and guide your prayers.
